I’d say the lesson here is that we should be more skeptical of neat stories and experiments, especially if they seem like perfect illustrations of some point we’re trying to make.

Possible Application: Hatfields and McCoys on revenge. Behavioral economics (as you can see, I go back and forth on this one). Any others?
